Cornwall is jam-packed with things to do, you will find you are literally spoiled for choice!Launceston Castle

We are just under 5 miles from Launceston, the Historic Capital of Cornwall, where you can find some amazing architecture along with a Norman castle which dominates the skyline and offers outstanding views over the River Tamar.  The town also has a plentiful supply of bakeries in which to enjoy a traditional cream tea or cornish pasty.

We have some great local pubs nearby, most of which are child friendly and many of which accept dogs.  The nearest is only 1.5 miles away and offers a pick up and drop off service so you don't have to drive.

We are lucky to be surrounded by some excellent attractions.  Within close proximity to us are; Trethorne Leisure Park which also has ten pin bowling and an 18 hole golf course and driving range; Tamar Otter Sanctuary; New Mills Farm Park; Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary; Hidden Valley Discovery Park and Light RailwayLanhydrock; Cotehele; Launceston Steam Railway; Sterts Open Air Theatre; Colliford Lake Park; Roadford Lakes and of course, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

With our proximity to the major A roads you will find exploring no problem at all.  An abundance of amusement parks, animal farms, birds of prey / owl sanctuaries, zoos and sea life centres are at your fingertips.  Not to mention the excellent cyder farms and vineries in the area too!

Beaches
Nearby Bossiney HavenOur nearest beaches of Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Haven are between 14 and 16 miles away, as is the picturesque harbour of Boscastle.  Widemouth Bay is particularly good for watersports, rock pooling & beach games and dogs are allowed on one half of the beach all year round.

With Bodmin Moor on our doorstep, Dartmoor a short drive away, the nearby Camel Trail and the magnificent South West Coast Path within a 20 minute drive there are many wonderful walks nearby.  Whether you are seasoned walkers, familes with young children or just fancy taking in the natural Cornish beauty you will find a great choice of walks to do in the area. 

The Eden ProjectGardens
The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached in 40 minutes, and the nearest garden at Cotehele is only 20 minutes away.  Also within easy reach are the spectacular gardens at Lanhydrock and Pencarrow.

Sports / Recreation
There are some excellent fishing venues nearby, two 18 hole golf courses within 5 miles, excellent cycling along the camel trail and granite way, pony trekking on Bodmin Moor, game / bird shooting at Outshooting and, of course, some fantastic water sports on both the North Coastline and the nearby lakes.
